Help keep children safe, connected, and at home.
Support Aboriginal families on their healing journey.
Walk alongside our families to build safe, healthy family functioning and support reunification of children with their parents. This rewarding role provides culturally safe, trauma-informed support that strengthens families and community for lasting change.
About the role
In this role, you will:
- Provide intensive case management and outreach to strengthen parenting skills and family safety
- Support reunification of children with their families and reduce child protection involvement
- Apply trauma-informed, strengths-based and culturally safe practices
- Work collaboratively with families, Child Protection, and community service providers
- Maintain accurate case notes, assessments, and reports in line with policy and legislative standards
About you
- Qualified in Social Work, Child Development, Psychology or Community Services (or equivalent)
- Strong case management and family support skills
- Understanding of Aboriginal culture, family systems, and the impact of trauma
- Excellent communication, trust-building, and engagement skills with families
- Experience in child and family services or working with vulnerable families (preferred)
