Njernda Aboriginal Corporation is seeking two reliable and community‑focused Client Transport Officer & Health and Ageing Receptionists to provide safe transport services for clients and support the welcoming, front‑of‑house operations of our Medical Centre and Health and Ageing programs.


This role is essential in supporting community members to access medical appointments, outreach programs and health services, while ensuring a respectful, culturally safe and professional first point of contact for clients accessing Njernda services.

About the role

As our Client Transport Officer & Health and Ageing Receptionist, you will play a dual role supporting both client transport and reception services within Njernda’s Medical Centre and Health and Ageing programs. We have 2 positions available within this dual-function role.


This role combines client transport, reception, and administrative support, making it ideal for candidates with experience in:

  • Client or patient transport
  • Reception or administrative support in health or community services
  • Customer service and community engagement
  • Working respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people


You will contribute to a safe, efficient and welcoming service environment while supporting clients to attend appointments and access care.

About you

  • Certificate IV in Office Administration or related field, or significant equivalent experience
  • Current and valid full unrestricted Victorian Driver’s Licence with a safe driving record
  • Strong computer skills and confidence using administrative or clinical systems (or willingness to learn)
