Join Njernda Aboriginal Corporation as the Health and Ageing Services Manager, overseeing the Medical Centre and a wide range of health, ageing, and wellbeing programs.

This leadership role is responsible for ensuring culturally safe, effective, and compliant service delivery that meets community needs and supports the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people across the region.

About the role

• Lead daily operations and strategic planning across medical, allied health, and aged care services
• Manage staff, clinical governance, budgets, and accreditation compliance
• Promote culturally safe, trauma-aware, and evidence-based health service delivery
• Build strong partnerships with government, health providers, and community organisations
• Drive continuous improvement, staff development, and quality health outcomes

About you

• Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identity is essential for this role
• Tertiary qualifications in Healthcare, Business Management, or related discipline
• Extensive leadership experience managing multidisciplinary health and aged care teams
• Strong understanding of Aboriginal health, trauma-informed care, and clinical governance
• Excellent communication, financial management, and stakeholder engagement skills
