Njernda Aboriginal Corporation is an independent not-for-profit Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service, governed by a Board of five Directors. Our primary population catchment is the Echuca and Moama Murray River region with services reaching out to the Loddon Mallee region.
Njernda is recognised for leadership in Aboriginal children, youth, and community services; family services; and health, and aged care services. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Director, Corporate Services will support the transformation of the organisation to ensure that the short, medium and long-term goals of Njernda’s Strategic plan are met.
This role will oversee key HR, Finance and Compliance functions, develop and implement new strategies, policies and procedures and lead and oversee various projects and project teams. The Executive Director, Corporate Services will work closely with the Executive Team and the CEO to monitor and manage resource, financial and performance management issues, while also engaging and collaborating with community.
You will be an experienced senior executive in the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community who can provide strong leadership and is confident in your ability to engage and communicate across a diverse range of stakeholders. Your track record working in an ACCO or with ACCOs, paired with your business/financial acumen, will lend itself to your success in leading across the corporate functions of the organisation. You will either have a relevant degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
