Mental Health Support & Counselling
Our counsellors and mental health nurse work with individuals and families in a culturally safe way to build tools for better emotional and mental wellbeing.
We use therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Focussed Psychological Strategies (FPS) and interpersonal approaches tailored to your needs.
- Up to six sessions available (with possible extension)
- Referral from GP required with a Mental Health Care Plan
Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB)
Our Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) team supports our Mob to feel strong in mind, body and spirit. You don’t have to do it alone — we’re here to help.
We have male and female SEWB workers to support community members who are going through tough times – offering life skills coaching, mental health support, and a listening ear in a culturally safe space.
We support children, young people, families, carers and individuals to build resilience, connect to culture, and access the help they need.
- Help for families, carers, young people and individuals
- Self-referral or referral from a GP, counsellor, support worker or the courts
- Connection with local health, mental health and community services
If you don’t already have a Mental Health Care Plan, we can support you to get one through your regular GP.
