Be the welcoming face of Njernda – supporting community, culture and connection.
Njernda Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a friendly, professional and culturally aware Receptionist to join our Corporate Services team.
As the first point of contact for community members, clients and stakeholders, this role plays a vital part in creating a welcoming, respectful and culturally safe environment. You will ensure every person who walks through our doors or contacts the organisation has a positive and supportive experience.
In addition to reception duties, you will provide essential administrative support to the Corporate Services team, helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the organisation.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing excellent customer service, and values working in a community-focused organisation.

About the role
- Provide a warm, professional and culturally respectful reception service
- Manage incoming calls, visitors and enquiries efficiently
- Maintain a welcoming and well-presented reception and waiting area
- Support meeting coordination, including Board room bookings and setup
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries and correspondence
- Provide general administrative support across Corporate Services
- Coordinate office supplies, fleet bookings and basic maintenance requests
- Support events, meetings and day-to-day office operations
About you
You are a friendly and reliable team member who:
- Has strong customer service and communication skills
- Demonstrates respect and understanding of Aboriginal culture
- Is organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks
- Has experience in administration or reception roles
- Is confident using Microsoft Office and office systems
- Takes pride in creating a welcoming and professional environment
